The Golden Rail was in need of a jersey design for the members of The Golden Rail Cornhole Club to wear.
My friends and I make up about half the league, and we've been playing too much FIFA.
Right before I went golfing, I posted this on Reddit. Unfortunately, on my way to good ole Scott's Corners, my phone died.
When I turned it back on it was on 'the front page of the internet'. I realize now, over 1,000,000 views later, how spot on that slogan is.
My friend's father owns a tree removal company called J & J Tree Works and they needed a bunch of design work.
This will be a billboard in the next few weeks, I will post a picture of it when it happens.
This was the second logo concept I made for J&J Tree Works.
However, the season approached fast and the billboard became priority.
This design wasn't presented. It is however, something I did since graduation.
This was the first logo concept I sent J & J's way. As you can see, I hadn't found a home for the 'J&J' yet.
It's a good thing I didn't wait until I finished it; it reminded them of an ice cream shop and got canned.
Side note: The color blue was asked to be incorporated as it was the color of their trucks.
A close friend of mine is starting a New York Jet inspired clothing brand for the gang green fans and commissioned me for a logo.
The nose of the plane is the Empire State Building. The rest of the plane is structured in way that doesn't make the building too obvious.
To clear up any confusion, I'm a niners fan from New York. I was raised in a 49ers household and never questioned it.
With that being said, I loved Gore and felt I had to do something when I heard he was leaving.
Jeter retiring and Gore moving to Indy are two things that don't have much in common at all, so I never shared this.
I was just emotional.
Prior to making 'If the NBA had helmets', I was originally going to redesign the NFL in it's entirety.
Here are the few I finished before realizing the NBA needed me more.
About four years ago I spent a summer in Virginia drenched in sweat working for my friend's landscaping company.
Since then, the company has evolved into a landscape / hardscape design group that generates gorgeous work throughout the country.
The logo, company name, and work ethic is directly inspired by my friend's loyal canine, Kelty.
This project took me nine days to finish. It was very tedious but I learned a lot.
If I were to do this same project again, I would complete each segment in illustrator prior to even opening After Effects.
Each line disappears or reappears because of another line pulling or pushing it.
This was my first project using After Effects. I made it up as I went along.
Upon finishing it however, I realized I wanted something much more simple for my website that stayed within the boundaries of the video player.
The goal was to show how I made my logo, and made the letters 'J' and 'P' symmetrical.
My Grandmother moved out of her house last year and I visit it occasionally.
When I do, I feel like time travel is possible.
The former defensive line coach of the 49ers, Jim Tomsula, was named Head Coach during the NFL offseason.
Tomsula has been quoted screaming "BLUDGEON!" on numerous occasions during his time coaching the d-line.
A war cry has been born:
My friend Dean a.k.a. the craigslist killah finds way too many freelancing jobs on craigslist.
When it becomes too much he gives me a call.
When the most confident man in the fantasy league wins* we all must do our best to try and exploit his sketchy behavior.
